BITO Offers New E Laser Two-Head
Monday, June 27, 2011
Double your productivity and incrementally increase your speed with the Proel Two-Head E Laser
machine offered exclusively by BITO. This versatile inline laser-cutting machine can be attached
to a two-head machine to do integrated cutting and embroidery of appliqué and emblems.
In addition to higher productivity, you'll be able to offer the latest techniques in appliqué
such as reverse and distressed. Cut multiple layers of fabric at the same time to create
exciting two- and three-color designs or use different types of fabric to add interest with
a variety of textures. Offer unique looks that your competition can't touch.
The patented Proel E Laser system uses the embroidery machine frame movement to guide the laser.
Its fiber optics technology is more reliable and requires less maintenance than a mirror-directed
laser beam. And, the E Laser can be attached to any make or model of embroidery equipment.
The laser is mounted 1 1/2 inches above the fabric and cutting is accurate to within 1/100th of an
inch. The power can easily be adjusted to match a range of fabric thicknesses and design needs by
rotating the laser power knob. Guided by special laser-cutting software designed by Proel called
FocusCut III, the laser cuts only within the sewing area of an embroidery hoop.
With the E Laser, appliqué fabric is simply laid over the hooped garment where it is cut without
any need for sticky adhesive sprays. Once it's cut, the embroidery machine automatically sews
the appliqué according to whatever stitch is selected.

BITO Offers New Spartacus Manager Production Laser Cutter Software
Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011
Increase your productivity and capabilities with the brand-new Spartacus Manger, a new
tool that can be added to this galvanometric laser cutter. With the Manager, which consists
of a flat-panel mini PC computer and software, you can now queue up multiple jobs to the
cutter so that production can be continuous. Without the Manager, a job must completely
finish before you begin the process of preparing and sending the next job.
With the natural speed of a galvanometic laser, jobs can be processed at a significantly
enhanced speed that easily can keep up with a multihead embroidery machine. Multiple
operators can send designs to the machine, pick them up when done, and the next job is
started automatically.
The Spartacus is ideal for cutting appliqués and creating new looks such as distressed,
reverse, and multilayer. It can be used to cut out emblems or printed pieces. It also can
do hard goods such as paper, textiles, anodized aluminum, non-toxic polymers, Plexiglas®,
and leather.
The Spartacus Manager works hand in hand with Focuscut III software, which comes with the
laser cutter. Users can change a variety of parameters including laser power and speed to
obtain optimum performance. The laser can be adjusted for products of varying thicknesses
by adjusting the cutting bed height.
BITO specializes in laser-cutting equipment and digitizing software for the decorated apparel
industry. For more information, contact BITO at 866-BITO-USA (866-248-6872); e-mail:

BITO Offers New Four-Head Machine E Laser
Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010
The E Laser was the first machine that made inline laser cutting on an embroidery machine affordable
for the smaller shop. The E Laser Four-Head is designed for multihead embroidery machines with four,
six, eight, or 12 heads. This allows you to quadruple your laser-cutting capabilities over the
singlehead E Laser, but at a lower investment than the LaserBridge model.
With inline laser cutting on your multihead embroidery machine, you'll be able to incrementally
increase your production speed on appliqués and emblems. You'll also more easily be able to offer
embroidery with lower stitch counts and more exciting looks than possible before.
The patented Proel E Laser system uses the embroidery machine frame movement to guide the laser.
Its fiber optics technology is more reliable and requires less maintenance than mirror-directed
laser. And, the E Laser can be attached to any make or model of embroidery equipment. If you are
mounting it onto a machine with more than four heads, you can choose which heads you want to attach
the laser.
The laser is mounted 1 1/2 inches above the fabric and cutting is accurate to within 1/100th of an inch.
The power can easily be adjusted to match a range of fabric thicknesses and design needs by rotating
the laser power knob. Guided by special laser-cutting software designed by Proel called FocusCut III,
the laser cuts only within the sewing area of an embroidery hoop.
With the E Laser, appliqué fabric is simply laid over the hooped garment where it is cut without any
need for sticky adhesive sprays. Once it's cut, the embroidery machine automatically sews the appliqué
according to whatever stitch is selected. In addition to traditional appliqué, it can be used for
distressed appliqué, reverse appliqué, and multiple layers at a much greater speed than possible using
traditional methods.

BITO Offers Updated Auto Laser Lettering Software for Proel Laser Machines
Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010
Bito's Auto Laser Lettering (ALL) program has recently been updated and improved with new capabilities
that allow users to create more sophisticated, decorative lettering using a galvanometic laser. This type
of laser comes on the LaserBridge or E-Laser singlehead laser machines, which work in conjunction
with embroidery machines as well as the Spartacus standalone laser.
This optional program now has the capability to do multiple sizes in different fonts at the same time
whereas previously it could do only one size in one font at the same time. In addition, once a
combination of fonts and sizes are determined, a template can be created and saved for repetitive use.
Another new feature is motifs on a curve. Designers can create a variety of decorative stitches like a
miniature French dot, polka dot, rings, cross stitch, golf ball, tennis racquet, soccer ball, baseball, etc.
The motif is limited only by the user's imagination. This motif can then be applied to the outline of any
shape letter. Previously, motifs could be applied only in straight lines.
With the ALL program, which is used in conjunction with FocusCut III laser cutting software and Proel
Millennium digitizing software, users can take advantage of the newest, fastest techniques for creating
appliqué embroidered lettering and numbering.
ALL automates the process of designing number and letter appliqué designs that are then sent to the laser
for cutting and embroidering. With ALL, it is profitable to create even a single piece because of the time
and labor savings.
It works with True Type fonts to create the most popular typeface styles. It also offers a variety of finishing
stitches such as zigzag, column, bean (triple), and a single running stitch. Characters may be created for
single or multiple layers of fabrics thus providing for kiss cut and multicolored appliqués.
ALL offers full control of cutting and stitching line placements thus enabling the user to create a variety
of appliqués, including but not limited to reverse, multi-layer, and fashion trim appliqués where a running
stitch is sewn in the middle of the fabric and then cut on both sides of the stitch to create a fat-looking
column. Favorite styles may be created and the font, stitch type, size, and border can be saved for quick recall.
ALL also can be used for vector shapes and images other than letters and numbers, thus making it an automatic appliqué
digitizing system as well. The same capabilities that are used for letters and numbers may be applied to any True
Type image, thus making ALL a program that automates and combines stitching and cutting simultaneously.
The greatest feature of ALL is its ability to generate embroidery data, cutting data, and the necessary automatic
offset when using a LaserBridge or E-Laser machines.
The automatic offset feature tells the embroidery machine and laser where to go after the embroidery process is
completed. It offers full control to allow for precise positioning of the laser as well as the correct depth that
the laser should cut.
